To move a student past the enrolled status at the program level, you must mark the student as having completed the program requirements. To do this, you must either test for completion by opening the student's record in the Register a student by program window, or run the Program Completion List report.
When you run either of these processes, all of the program requirements are tested for completion. If the student has met all of the requirements, the program assigns a status of Complete and the system date is inserted into the Program Completion Date field.
If the student registered for a program that you designated as a Joint program and you specified Joint Certification requirements on the Set up programs window, iMIS tests for completion based on the Joint program requirements.
If you have a program with a subsequent Maintenance Period or, if the student has completed a current Maintenance Period, a new maintenance program registration record is created with a status of Enrolled if you have selected the setup option Automatically Enter First and/or Subsequent Maintenance Portion(s) on the Program Dates window (from Certification, select Set up programs, double-click a program, and click Dates). Otherwise, you can manually move the student into the subsequent maintenance portion of the program by clicking Rollover on the Register a student by program window.
